The Winemaker:
Technical training in crop protection specializing in organic, and after having traveled across France to promote biodynamic agriculture and advise a number of estates including Château de Gaure where he has also vinified a few vintages, Benoit Arletaz decides, after setting up his cellar in Lavalette with his partner Amélie, to acquire 5.5 ha near Opoul Perillos, on the border of the Catalan region and the Corbières. The vines of Domaine Arletaz are absolutely magnificent, perfectly pruned and healthy, centenary Carignans, Mourvèdres, white, gray and black Grenaches as well as old Maccabeu. Since 2016, the estate's grapes have been certified organic. The work in the cellar is done in the most natural way possible. A very young estate with an extremely promising future (first vintage in 2014), the wines of Benoît are generous, complex and free at will, enough to have a great time.
Wine:
This Manon cuvée is a blend of Carignan, Grenache, Mourvèdre aged in barrels for one year.
